Steve Caine
I'm a founder and President of
Caine, Farber & Gordon, Inc. (CFG).
I live in Alta Loma, California.
When I'm not working, you'll often find me in the Cajon Pass area
of California's Mojave Desert where I pursue my main hobby of
Railfanning.
I'm also a 35mm (now, mostly digital) photographer and a VHF scanner buff and the
three hobbies go well together.
The picture above shows me, on May 31, 1998,
on a car of the Portland
(OR) Vintage Trolley which is waiting at the Lloyd Center Terminus
for time-table permission to begin a trip into downtown Portland.

If you are really a train nut, you can see a picture of me
and a train at
MP 57.2 in Cajon Pass.
Cajon Pass Rails will provide a lot
more information about railroading in Cajon Pass and a lot more of my
photographs.
For many years I have been busy all year with the
Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
I've been a member since 1976, so January 1, 2007 was my 31st Parade for which
I was Chair of the Float Construction Committee and a Director of the
Association.
In late January 2007, I retired from active Tournament membership and was elected an Honorary Director.
Though my active participation on the Parade is over, I will continue to
work with the
Rose Bowl Game
where I have been appointed
Game Manager, Technology.
If you would like to send me encrypted mail or verify a message that
purports to be signed by me,
here is my PGP public key.
